Earth, Receive Everything from You and Me, Earth,

Earth, receive everything from you and me, Earth,
I turn back to you, my body smelling of sacred sacrifice and the sorrow that ends only in death.
Day and night, I will gaze upward for a long, long time.
I can fill my mouth with bitter soil, amid the sorrow stirred by the sound of them.
